Hi, I'm Michella Apodaca Allen. I’m a children's author and poet. I'm the creator of Love, Gus: A Book About Grief, a series written to help young readers (and the grown-ups beside them) navigate loss. As a poet, I share most of my work over on Instagram (@shellawrites), with my second collection, Warm in the Middle, Vol. I & II, arriving this fall.
