work with me

If you've ever had a story, poem, or idea sitting in you for years that you haven't quite found the courage to start, I get it. I spent a lot of my life calling myself anything but a writer, even while I was filling composition notebooks in secret.

Finding your voice is hard. I think it's a slow, sometimes painful process. The bad news? There's no real way to expedite it. The good news? It can be less painful if you have a little support along the way.

Some things to know before working with me:

I don't believe there are real rules to writing. Of course, technically, there are rules. But when it comes to putting whatever is in your head onto the page, I often find it's best done when you throw inhibitions to the wind.

Creators need community. We need check-ins and opportunities to commiserate about the creative process. I hope to create that in my 1:1s and workshops.

For my hopeful 1:1 peer mentor clients:

Please fill out the following Google worksheet (here). I will reach out to within 5-7 business days.

1:1 peer mentorship will include two, one-hour long sessions per month, on a set day and time. We will talk process, where you’re stuck, and what your goals are. Typically, I will ask you to bring some writing to workshop. Currently I am taking three clients monthly. There is a short waiting list.

Look out for group workshops coming soon!
